Among the works carried out during the 2019 fiscal year, we highlight the replacement of the conveyor chain running rails in a Pipe Treatment Furnace.
The large dimensions (20 x 8 m.) of the furnace, and thus of all the mechanical elements, made the execution of this project, which was assumed in its entirety by MAR Casting, very difficult. From the preliminary study to the turnkey delivery, including the mechanical and refractory engineering, the supply of mechanical elements and refractory products, as well as the complete commissioning and assembly.
In order to replace the running rails, it was necessary to demolish the refractory lining of the slab, as well as to dismantle and remove the supporting chain.
This project was completed and delivered on schedule, including the commissioning of the furnace, to the full satisfaction of our client.
